Top 5 Trends From 2014
Fashion is changing faster than ever and maintaining up is half of the battle. But some wacky ideas work is known by any style tastemaker worth her Himalayan crystal salt –and some fall flat. With regard to 2014’s close we’re counting down the top five styles which were serious wins in the beauty and apparel sections.
5. Total Berry Lips- Before there was Marsala, there was a rotating door of heavy berry glosses, sticks and tints. It felt like femininity discovered it has power and we liked it.
4. Pastel- We adore black up to the next gal, but even we have to admit it was fun to kick it on the mild side. Soft, demure and oh-so-easy, the palette just felt on the human body and at a beauty pattern that was sweet.
3. The Culotte— Sureit seemed funky initially. But we’ve learned to love what brands such as The Row have done for aesthetics that was wide-legged and roomy. And thanks to other designers after lawsuit, we have embraced the in-between silhouette as a complete transitioning piece
2. Fringe— Chalk it up to too many springs spent desert-side at Coachella, but the whole Wild West cow woman movement actually had a renaissance minute. Michael and oscar might have sent it down the runway but style stars like Olivia were crafting the Pinterst- outfits the every-girl could copy.
1. Bold Brows— Is there a fad Cara has not begun? The spunky, young Brit has essentially changed the way we frame faces nowadays, and after cues from the likes of MK&A bold brows were on everyone’s beauty to-do record this year.
