H&M: Cheap In Paris!
H&M Autumn Collection From The Musee Rodin In Paris, France
H&M, the beloved low-priced Swedish clothing firm, somehow managed to flounce posh in Paris in a seriously friendly price range. With also a palette and bohemian specifics, the collection keeps style fun and simple. The designer Dries Van Noten said that he began by imagining menswear, and then going in the opposite direction while keeping the sharp tailoring of the traces of men.
The H&M collection includes strictly tailored bits with female, bohemian flounces and flourishes. Ann-Marie Johansson, head of H&M layout, stated from the group trailer, that the notion is”a bunch of girls dressing up”, adding:”Borrowing items in their boyfriend’s wardrobe, maybe their grandma’s, and mixing them together to make an effortless and trendy look. It is nothing new really, but it makes style fun”
The collection features a few more upscale and high priced pieces.
It’s the first time in 8 years that H&M has hosted a style walk- although this demonstration was during fashion week, it wasn’t part of fashion week.
