I am a RoC Skincare Ambassador, which means I am paid for sharing my own experiences with the newest. Rest assured, all comments are my own.

I am a gal. A trend blogger may shudder to learn that I put on my hair up more frequently than I leave it down. And I leave no make-up to the house on. I do love to appear my best, but I love to live my entire life — rather than invest it cleansing, exfoliating, moisturing, serum-izing, etc.. So after years of trying and purchasing beauty goods, I’ve finally settled into a super easy, and pretty regular, skincare regimen. Then continue reading, since this post is right for you, if you would rather get your day started quickly and with confidence.

The Wallpaper

Sometime within my late-20s, I realized aging is really a thing. I’m now 44, and also my top skincare problem is (still) fine lines and wrinkles. I do have combination skin that sensitive. I used to be prone to red patches that were intermittent and breakouts. But I do not recall the last time either of those things happened. This tells me I’ve settled on a routine that works for me. I’m sharing in hopes you’ll find it helps you hone in on the routine that is right for you and your skin type.

The Daily Skincare Routine

Morning

Rinse with cool or warm water.  I don’t use cleanser in my face in the afternoon. I rinse with water. I picked this habit up if I was told by my hair stylist to:

  • Stop using hot water on my hair and
  • shampoo significantly less often

I had been at how fast I saw outcomes shocked after taking her guidance. My hair was thicker, more manageable and held colour better. I figured if this was great practice for my hair, it might be good for my face. As I go through cleaner half, plus there is a monetary benefit.

Moisturize face and eyes using sunscreen. My go-to lashes are:

  • RoC® MULTI CORREXION® 5 In 1 Daily Moisturizer With Sunscreen: here’s what I have needed to say about this product lineup previously.
  • RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Eye Cream: here is what other beauty experts have to say about this item.

BB Lotion or Powder Foundation.  I use Neutrogena Visibly In light to medium or bareMinerals Original foundation in light.  I have used bareMinerals for more than 10 years, and I’ve had no reason to change, although it’s not as cool as it used to be. I was in a pinch and picked up some Ageless base by CoverGirl and Olay in creamy natural. It wasn’t life-changing, although this was a cream base with SPF.

Cleanse.  For cleansers, I alternate between Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser and RoC Max Resurfacing Cleanser. The RoC cleaner includes a texture, which is fine for hydration functions. The Neutrogena cleaner offers a gentle wash using a complete.

Moisturize. My first choice for a night moisturizer is RoC® MULTI CORREXION® 5 In 1 Restoring Night Cream, for exactly the same reasons I use the RoC daily moisturizer. POND’s Rejuveness is I picked up a couple of jars of this item and has been amazed with its capabilities.

Extra Skincare Indulgences

For me personally extras are goods I purchase for myself on occasions that are special. I may go for months or weeks without them, but these are at the very top of my list when it’s time to splurge.

  • RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Serum: a pleasant, light serum that actually works for me. This is actually the merchandise I hit While I need a kick at the pants for. I like to switch between using it and not using it daily so I can view and appreciate the results.
  • DHC Velvet Skin Coat: a makeup primer which provides your skin an ultra-smooth complete. I described this product to my husband as”spackle for your face.”
  • Shea’wa Facial Mask: a decorative mask with activated charcoal. My daughter bought this for me, also I really like the way it leaves my skin feeling youthful fresh and clean! I have not been yet. Jar lasts a very long time.

And that is it for my skincare routine. What are your go-to beauty products? Share in the comments!
