7 Tips for Baby Fashion that Won’t Break the Bank

1.  Bandanas

Max Kafel

This tip comes from yours truly. My son is half-Polish and we spend a great deal of time. That is where this suggestion comes from. In Krakow, the artist’s haven of babies Poland and toddlers wear bandanas. Genius! Not only is it adorable (and just like a posh infant scarf), it’s also cheap, comes in a variety of colors, adds pizzazz to a plain onesie, also keeps your baby warm while grabbing their drool fest.

Get one! Seen here is my little guy Max in a turquoise bandana.

2. Headbands out of Etsy

This one comes in the best infant photographers you’re ever going to find, Brittany Jonaitis who possesses Juliana Leigh Photography (her work seen in the major image and under ). Ever in a bad mood? Peruse the infant pics and visit her site, you be revitalized! Have a baby? Then book .

My plugs for her work aside, the girl knows how to find adorable baby gear, heck, it is a part of her job! Dressing up the men for their shoots, she knows where to look. “I find most of my newborn hats and headbands on Etsy. A number of my favorite sellers are: Sew Whimsy and Devoted Knits. My favorite line for little girls is Matilda Jane and I am always looking for bargains at Gap and Janie & Jack for little boys.”

Siena Beyer

7. Hand-me-downs

Alex Mills

Never underestimate the ability of hand-me-downs. “After speaking to a couple women around the office, I was amazed to see how many were suddenly prepared to rid themselves of adorable outfits now that they were done with kids.
