Family Dollar Fashion: New Line for Ladies
Have you ever learned about the new line of women’s fashion of Family Dollar? Yep, Family Dollar — the local shop that has created a name for itself by offering low prices on stuff that you want regular — is adding wallet-friendly fashion to its merchandise mix. The new line, called Only Be, has promise. 2015 look publication shows wearable styles at prices that are super-low off.
Since we adore fashion we took the chance to interview Family Dollar’s Sarah Tate Apparel Buyer, to learn more.
When did you opt to make a livelihood out of fashion?
I enjoyed reading fashion magazines however after college once I began working and needed money I started enjoying shopping. That evolved into an interest in making’shopping’ my livelihood!
What’s the most rewarding part of your work?
I really like it when I look at my selling report and watch an immediate response to an item. It means to me that I am making our customers contented.
How can you describe your personal fashion sense?
Classic and feminine, fashion right but not stylish.
What are the go-to pieces in your closet?
Maxi dress, a great blouse, cardigan sweaters to pull an outfit together, scarves, wedge shoes and boots.
What are some sources of your style inspiration?
What we do at Family Dollar is much more of a re-interpretation of items from designers and retailers. So, I work with also my suppliers and market tendency bureaus to stay current on what’s working in the marketplace. In addition, I do a lot of celebrating — when in New York I see what the latest street style is, what fashion do I keep seeing as I proceed through town. And I see my customer — what is she’s wearing is she currently interpreting tendencies.
Describe the girl you’ve got in mind for your Only Be line.
Be is for everyone. It crosses lifestyles, personalities and many age ranges. The Just woman is a person who is comfortable with herself and wants to express herself at prices that fit her budget during trend.
What information would you have for the woman who has a major sense of design but a small budget?
Buy a few great primary bits and then update each season with a few new tops, with attachments (scarves statement necklaces are a terrific way to update) and perhaps a sandal in Spring/Summer or a boot in Fall/Winter. And store at Family Dollar, Obviously!
What can we expect from Just Be at the future?
In order to bring our customer fashion right product that she is able to feel good in and that will fit her budget We’ll continue to concentrate on quality and great value.
