I have a pooch and constantly carry excess weight in my stomach. I think I look pregnant when I try about the new styles that are flowy and tight at the ribcage beneath. Same with tunics. Summer is approaching and I hate to coating too much in the summer (I reside in Texas). Which type of tops should I be looking for?
Fashion Tips for people with Tummies

Do not fret, there is lots of alternatives for those of us with a bit of a stomach. Stick to these fashion tips below.
1. Show Some Skin. The more skin you show, the thinner you look. Why? To wherever the skin is at Since the eye travels. So sporting a tank top (unless you have flabby arms like me) or a low-cut shirt will draw the eye towards your toned arms and hot bustline, instead of your waist.
2. Go For the”V.” Look for cotton shirts with either a v-neck with a bit of stretch (two to 3 percent Lycra material ) in a solid color.
3. Work the Style . Choose patterns which are in scale with your body (contrary to popular belief, patterns could be flattering–just be certain they are not too little or too large. I.e, in case you’ve got bigger features go for a larger print, and if you’ve got smaller features go for a smaller print).
4. Dress Monochromatically. Dressing monochromatically–black and black, blue and blue, pink and pink–can help distract from your waist.

5. Discover the abilities of ruching. Ruching is your scrunching of cloths in to folds, usually around your waist. The folding camouflages some”lumps” round the middle section.
Last but not least, it is also possible to wear a set of Spanx — maybe not the smartest choice through a hot summer or a set of tummy-control panties, but an option nonetheless.
