Makeup in a Flash: Sephora’s Free 2 Day Delivery Service

Yesterday, select Sephora lovers were emailed an invitation to combine Sephora FlashTranslation: Everybody’s favorite makeup shop probably achieved to their best clients.   Further translation: People with an ungodly stash of beauty insider points. (Raising my hands here.)

Sephora Flash is a pilot program that seems like Amazon Prime, which provides free 2-day shipping with no minimum cost for an yearly fee of $79.  The program of sephora offers boundless, free delivery.  We are not sure what includes”qualified purchases,” but we’re assuming most items qualify.

Currently, the app is invite only.  In comparison to the fee of Amazon Prime, $10 is fair.  Then again, Amazon’s inventory includes everything from novels to fish sauce to electronic equipment, whereas Sephora is restricted to the attractiveness sphere.  On one hand, free transport prevents you from making additional purchases to qualify for free delivery.  On the flip side, what’s stopping you from non-stop because shipping is free of charge, ordering?

Which are your ideas on Sephora Flash?
