Nothing changes your view on fashion quicker than a bun in the oven. I should know; I had a baby four months ago and so people nine months are fresh in my mind! Window-shopping was not what. I felt in a candy store–that which was a no-no for me. Fashion was taunting me, but none of it I might use.

But because 99 percent of the stores were off-limits doesn’t indicate that I spent nine months in fashion jail –no way. So to all you preggers peeps out there, I’m here to inform you that you can still maintain style and you may do it on a budget, too! Here’s how…

Maternity Design on a Budget

Antiques Basics : Guess what still fits in each trimester? Jewelry! Additionally, jewellery is the way to alter an outfit which you may end up wearing three times every week. Choose fun, oversized earrings and big but brief necklaces (long necklaces will hang humorous in your belly in your third trimester).

Leggings and Jeans: Invest in one fantastic pair of jeans and one or two pairs of comfy maternity leggings.

Loved, heidi Klum’s new lineup, offers up amazing denim wear on the cheap and is available at Motherhood, among other significant maternity stores.  But should you would like to invest in one killer pair of designer maternity jeans, check out Pea in the Pod to your favorite brands (but with an expandable waist), such as Joe’s Jeans, Seven for All Mankind and True Religion. Always check the selling rack , because if you buy the season they’ll run you around $200.

Scarves

Like jewelry may salvage the outfit at a dozen ways , so can scarves! If you desire, Moreover, they can conceal your belly! Embrace your internal Frenchie and invest in a couple of in-season and fun scarves. Urban Outfitters carries lots of fun scarves which will quickly alter your appearance.

Dresses

Dresses are crucial, as these bands in your pregnancy pants start enjoyable and out comfy but, by the last weeks, will probably be digging into your belly as hard as your infant will be kicking. Dresses provide some liberty to your belly and make breathing easier. Invest in a few of dresses which you may change up along with your jewelry and scarves. Then grab one or two more fun dresses that you can save for special events, like parties and needless to say, your baby shower! I grabbed my favorite dress at Target on sale for just $13.97 (see previously ).

Maternity Basics: Target is your savior when it comes to principles like solid-color tops, wrap vases (no, your own sweaters–even the biggest you have –won’t fit by week 35), camis and empire-waist tops (your new best friend). In the end, don’t hesitate –ask your friends if they have any hand-me-downs (in case they’re done copying ) and check resale stores for much more bang for your buck.
