Product Review: Obaku Watches

I have not worn a watch in years. I am not sure why — maybe I, like the rest of the planet, just got used to getting the time off my phone. Nowadays but wrist wear is getting tons of attention. People today love (or hate) their own Apple watches and wearable devices that record their every move. AdmittedlyI myself went through a FitBit phase of monitoring heart rate my measures and sleep patterns.  I learned the information is only barely interesting enough to make up for the fact the FitBit makes me feel like I”m house arrest. Yeah, it’s cool to monitor my steps, but black wrist wear only does not seem good on me.

So when when I had review their watches Obaku achieved to me and asked me , I took one look and said Yes! I was done with utilitarian wrist wear and ready for something more womanly. And, the Obaku design aesthetic was exactly what I wanted, preferably like a cool glass of water.  These watches are classy and elegant pieces of jewelry (which also happen to maintain time).

Obaku Watch Fit

I have small wrists, so the watch from the box was way too big. Band adjustment is simple, and required no special tools. With the right fit, this watch using all the strap that is mesh-style is very lightweight and comfortable. It doesn’t pinch or feel awkward at all and sits flat.

I love. The first day I wore it, I was heading through the security line in the airport, and a TSA agent asked if I wore watch or a bracelet. As soon as I pulled up my sleeve to show the watch, she literally gasped and said,”that is lovely.”  No joke.
