STL Style & Beauty: What Your Zip Code Truth On Your Face

St. Louis is not a terrible hometown for fashionistas: we have our very own style week, a new trend incubator, a very healthy athleisure civilization (meaning it’s 100% STL design to wear cute workout clothes to Schnucks) and, clearly, the Cards — our cherished group which spawns so many fun, hometown fashion opportunities.

Now for the downside. According to the 3rd Annual Wrinkle Position by RoC® Skincare and Sperling’s Best Places, St. Louis is No. 17 on the record of the predicted 50 most wrinkle-prone cities in 2040. For 2 points of reference Las Vegas at 37 and the Los Angeles metro at 25 have wrinkles in their futures than we do.

Changing the Future of Wrinkles in St. Louis

1 factor that greatly influences St. Louis’ wrinkle ranking is smoking prices. For 35 of the 50 cities ranked, experts forecast that smoking rates will trend close to zero — but maybe not in St. Louis, Kansas City or Nashville. And since STL is called to keep increased smoking rates, our skin (jointly ) will show the effect. If you want a little extra evidence on this, see this post from WebMD, which says”Smoking changes the skin, teeth, and hair in a sense that could add years to your appearance.” You will probably shock.

About lowering our wrinkle threat what should you say, my fellow St. Louis fashionistas? Find a means and convince every other smoker in your life to do the same. (I know wrinkles are the least of your worries if you do smoke, but hey, it’s worth a shot.)

STL Style: Hometown Honor Picks
