The Way to Locate Designer Shoes

Oh designer sneakers, how do we love thee? Let’s count the ways–then count the pennies in the base of our handbag, because we’ll need every one to afford you. Or do we? That depends–are you prepared to do the, ahem, legwork to find fabulous designer wedding shoes for much less? We are, and we have actually taken the first steps (ahem again) for you.

There are only a few things to keep in mind while searching out designer deals for less–be available in terms of specific styles (bargains on the exact style you are coveting are little gifts from the universe as they come, but if you have something super unique in mind, the odds of discovering that EXACT shoe at a reasonable price can be similar to a needle in a haystack) and above all, be patient. And vigilant.  True deal-seeking isn’t a part-time pursuit. Our sources for designer sneakers on a budget:

Locate Designer Shoes on a Budget

Marshall’s/TJMaxx

Kenneth Cole Leather Platform Booties

We loooove us some Marshall’s and TJ Maxx for Instagram: worthy designer deal hauls, and shoes are definitely a part of the Marshall’s/TJMaxx encounter. We love much more that we can shop these retailers online these days, but we’re a bit bummed that we can not hunt by designer (we all know, this is a few stipulation designers set on close-out product, but really?) . That having been said, shopping online or in-store, you will find a lot of product but perusing can turn up gold. Like those Kenneth Cole Leather Platform Booties for $79.99 (compared to $225 MSRP). Eighty bucks isn’t chump change in our budget entire world, but for real leather Kenneth Cole’s? We are so in.

Ebay

Manolo Blahnik Animal Print Jitten Heel

This isn’t your mother’s Ebay. It is still a place for individuals to sell/auction undesirable items, of course, but it is also a place where — via the”Designer ” — you can purchase fab pieces straight from the resources, for less. Still, that particular section of Ebay contains shoes which, while deeply discounted, may be just a tad more than we want to cover (at this writing, some Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent over-the-knee boots for $178.50, MSRP $595), therefore we’re all about the respective listings. Like this Manolo Blahnik Animal Printing Jitten Heel with a starting bid of $52.99 (yes, we all know that’s not like Wal-Mart cheap but these really are MANOLO BLAHNIK. The Carrie Bradshaw in us only squealed a little).

Etsy.com

Vintage 80s Yves Saint Laurent Pumps

Okay, so Etsy is indeed very hit or miss for designer sneakers but it’s still worth a look for something truly unique (and often vintage chic). We do not store Etsy for designer shoes that are particular, but it’s worth a click-through if you’re trying to find a designer piece that’s classic and possibly collector-worthy. There’s the ability to ask questions or get more information about the pieces in question since you buying from an individual or small store. We’re scoping out those Vintage 80s Yves Saint Laurent Pumps for $42. Just beware of the 13 Christian Louboutin stilettos–we are pretty sure they’re knock offs. Shocking, we know.

Factory Outlets/Factory Outlet Websites

Dart Peep Toe PumpSo, we all know by now that so-called factory outlet stores have become more”regular, slightly cheaper shops with marginally less selection and sometimes poorer quality items” than true deal and steal places. But, there are a number of deals to be had, and some designers nowadays have outlets online (which appeals to our shopping-in-pajamas-on-any-national-holiday adoring hearts). Take BCBGMAXAZRIA for example: their factory socket pages (the Final Cut) offer a number of items that are marginally deals, however this Dart Peep Toe Pump, for example, is on sale right now for $75, regular price $250. Speaking of outlets online, TheOutnet.com is an interesting source for discounted designer sneakers. Notice we said”intriguing” rather than”super cheap”. That having been said, designer and super-cheap nearly never move together — in this situation you’ll find head-turning designer shoes (think Jimmy Choo, Diane Von Furstenberg, Alexander Wang, Jil Sander, etc.) at discounted rates. At the moment, we can’t stop thinking about those Paloma Barcelo Suede and Rope Sandals, which are currently $174.18 in 60% off of the initial $435.45 pricetag. That is a little more than the pennies in the base of our handbag adds up to, but a girl can dream, right?
