Winter Trends: Booties!
Baby, it’s cold outside… however snap, occasionally I am just not totally prepared to acknowledge it. Don’t get me wrong–I really like winter style, particularly boots. But sometimes it’s good to facilitate in to change (particularly when it’s winter and it is not going anywhere fast), so this December I’ve decided to embrace booties.
As much as I really like a full boot, sometimes I want to show off my thighs and ankles. Input the bootie: the very best of worlds, I love the bootie this winter since it keeps my toes toasty through snow, sleet, and rain and looks good. Listed below are my favorite picks for winter booties:
Tis’ the Season to Rock Winter Booties
For New Years or Christmas Eve
Back up your outfit with those black-and-bowed ankle booties. These are SUPER sexy and yet still totally classy–and only $39.95. I’ve a hunch. Check out them here in M. & H
Move With Everything Casual
All these smoking-hot booties will last a lifetime. I really like that they are subtly in colour and style, yet using a vixen-esque heel to add some height and sass, these would be the answer to everyone’s one-pair miracle for only $49.97.
Every Day
Suede, rubber, and gray–these can be worn anywhere, anytime, any place. Dress’em up, use them to function, or even pair with jeans on the weekend, all these are my go-to booties ($54.98).
Wind, Rain, Snow Proof
Do not let weather keep you indoors! Wear these en route to heck or work , to the pub for an after-work beverage. Particularly when they are only $59.95, nobody will blame you!
A Word on the Bootine
Remember a couple of years back, when Payless asked us the question,”What is a bootine?” What, indeed? Are we just making words up ? We adore Payless, and adore the boot tendency making the rounds for fall seriously, although just as much — it’s a ankle boot, nothing less and nothing more.
Bootie, bootine…whatever you call it, simply get a set and wear them together with the year’s textured tights and pencil skirts — they will look great, regardless of what you call them.
